Welcome to LuminAI! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the LuminAI mobile application (“App”). Please read them carefully. By using LuminAI, you agree to these Terms.

By accessing or using LuminAI, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
2. Service Description
LuminAI is an AI-powered iOS photo editing application. Key features include: uploading and processing photos, AI-based editing and enhancement, image manipulation and generation, and cloud-based temporary storage (images stored for up to 1 week).
3. User Accounts and Security
LuminAI supports Apple Sign In and Anonymous Sign In (via Firebase). You are responsible for your device security and account use. Do not share or transfer your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Content
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. Obtain consent from any identifiable person in your uploaded images. Do not upload harmful files, malware, or unauthorized copyrighted works. Do not reverse engineer, copy, or tamper with the App. Respect privacy, intellectual property, and third-party rights. Strictly prohibited content includes: sexually explicit or pornographic content, non-consensual intimate imagery, deepfakes of real people without written consent, content promoting violence, harassment, or illegal activity, unauthorized copyrighted material, or content violating privacy or publicity rights.

6. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your uploaded and AI-generated content. You grant LuminAI a limited license to process your content solely to provide services. AI outputs may unintentionally resemble existing works or real people; you are responsible for compliance with applicable laws. Subject to these Terms, you own your generated content but grant LuminAI a limited license for service improvement, legal compliance, and moderation. LuminAI, its branding, and features are owned by Egemen Tokgoz and protected by law. Do not copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content.
7. Content Moderation and Enforcement
We may monitor, review, and remove violating content. We may suspend or terminate accounts without notice for violations and report illegal content to law enforcement. Violations involving deepfakes, non-consensual content, or harmful uploads may result in immediate termination and possible legal action.

10. Third-Party Services
LuminAI uses Supabase (database & storage), Firebase (authentication & analytics), Apple Sign In, Replicate & Google Gemini (AI processing), and RevenueCat (subscriptions). Your use of integrated services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Reporting Violations
Report prohibited content or violations to: egementt35@gmail.com. We investigate promptly and may take action, including removal, suspension, or referral to authorities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LuminAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the last 12 months.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LuminAI, its owner (Egemen Tokgoz), and affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your content and its legal consequences, or copyright, privacy, or defamation claims related to your use.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, especially for prohibited content. You may stop using LuminAI at any time. Certain sections (intellectual property, liability, indemnification) survive termination.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as laws or technologies evolve. Updates will show a revised “Last Updated” date and may be announced in-app. Continued use after updates means acceptance.
